CELEBRATING MIRACLES

Moses and the Israelite people have had a series of miracles in their lives and Exodus 14-15 are very interesting additions to the list. God routes Moses back by the Red Sea and again hardens Pharaoh's heart to pursue the people to bring them back as slaves. The Red Sea is in front and the army of Egypt is behind and no where to run! What is God doing?  Why did God send them this way? God's plans again look ridiculous but He has a Miracle on His "drawing board."

The fear of the people drives them to forget God's previous miracles so the people begin to attack Moses verbally for bringing them here to die in the wilderness. Moses message to them was: "Fear not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD..." Ex. 14:13 KJV.  It is hard to "stand still" when death by Egyptian soldiers looks emanate. God sent the cloud that was guiding them behind them to block the Egyptians through darkness on their side and fire for light on Israel's side to keep them separated. God also sent a powerful wind to separate the Red Sea and dry the ground at Moses command so they could cross over safely.  When they were safe God let the Egyptians advance into the Sea bed and at Moses command the watery sea walls collapsed on the horses, chariots, and troupes drowning all of them. WOW, TWO MORE MIRACLES OF GOD.

Moses, Miriam, and the people begin to sing songs of Praise to God for these miracles and their deliverance.

They are truly an example for us today to: 1. Follow God's directions even when they do not look logical. 2. Trust God even when all things look impossible. 3. CELEBRATE GOD'S MIRACLE INTERVENTIONS.

FRIEND, live and learn from God every day and never forget to celebrate your victories from God by praising and thanking Him!!!
